Your Black Friend is an animated short directed by myself and Alex Krokus under our former studio, Doggo Studios. The short is based off a comic made by our friend Ben Passmore, which you can purchase here at Silver Sprocket’s website.

Your Black Friend has been screened at many festivals including DiNK Comic Art & Expo, Animation Block Party, Louisiana International Film Festival, Conscious Cartoons International Animation Festival, Canada Film Festival, Panels to the People, Anim'est International Animation Festival, Squeaky Wheel, and Athens Animfest.

It won an award for “Best Mature Animated Short” at the 2018 Louisiana International Film Festival.
